I’m a pointed pen calligrapher and stationer. I create heirloom wedding invitations and day-of details that are both classic and fresh - always elegant - and with a touch of a whimsical flourish because this is the one of the most joyful moments of your lives.

I’m also a wife to my smart and kind husband and a mom to three boundlessly energetic children (and 2 rescue kittens who we adopted after they literally showed up on our front porch). I love a good DIY house project, a cup of coffee (or wine!) under a blanket on the couch while I read a magazine, and nerding out about nature and bugs (yes bugs. I’m fascinated!)

I've always been drawn to the pretty and the handmade. The subtle, perfect imperfections. The attention to detail. The progression of the work over time. There's soul in the handmade.

In a world that increasingly revolves around a screen, it's refreshing to create something modern with materials that have been around for centuries.

“Apricity”A Vocabulary Lesson

The word apricity is not in most people's everyday vocabulary, but oh, it should be! Apricity means the warmth of the sun in the wintertime. Anyone who lives with harsh winters (Illinois here!) knows just what a beautiful feeling this is.

When I create something for you through calligraphy and lettering, it is my hope that you feel that same kind of warmth and beauty.

I’d love to hear what makes you smile and about the beautiful ideas swirling around in your head. We can make those come to life.
